Our Philosophy

Spearit Software, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Dan Spear.  Prior to launching Spearit, Dan spent fifteen years at Quarterdeck Corporation where he created best-selling DOS and Windows programs such as QEMM, DESQview, and a collection of Internet utilities.
Dan's goal Software is to create quality software that addresses real problems faced by today's computer users. He believes that the first step in software development is to identify a problem by asking users the following question:
What would you like to be able to do with your computer that you cannot do now or what task do you feel should be easier than it currently is?
Based on the answers, we create exciting new software utilities such as Move Me and Associate This.
